Anastasis has an excellent view of the beach, and visitors can reach the beach in just a few minutes walk either through the main boardwalk or a private pathway.

The Noordhoek farm village is a few minute drive (or an enjoyable walk) and has several restaurant options as well as a small market with lovely options and fresh, locally grown vegetables. Further afield visitors can shop in Sun Valley at Woolworths, Food Lovers or Checkers. Delivery services from Checkers and Woolworths can provide groceries quickly as well.

Yes! We provide restaurant recommendations in our guide book. There are numerous excellent options ranging from basic to some of the best culinary institutions. A short list is here of those closest to Anastasis:

• Limoncello is a just a short walk or even shorter drive away from the house. It is an excellent Italian restaurant.
• Aegir Project is next door to Limoncello and an interesting craft brewery with good vibes and really tasty food. Think burgers and pizzas with a twist!
• Jake's on the Common is a bistro, excellent cocktails and desserts!
• The Foodbarn is an upmarket restaurant open for breakfasts, lunch and you mostly have to book for dinner. Well worth a visit.
• Cafe Roux is a family friendly establishment and meeting point. Good for breakfasts and they often have entertainment - bands or musicians.
• There is a food market every Wednesday at the Farm Village with many vendors and don't miss Cape Point Vineyards between 4.30 and 8.30pm every Thursday for their food market, especially if the weather is nice! It's magical up there and full of good food and nice people, both local and foreign.
• Just a bit further afield (15 mins drive) we can recommend Kalk Bay for breakfasts as the sun rises that side and there are lots of boutiques and lovely spots to eat. Cape to Cuba is an interesting option for night time.
• Harbour House in Kalk Bay for excellent seafood.
• Constantia is nearby and offers excellent wine tastings and gourmet options.
